I stole this from you

You and I were just friend when we went on the same trip. It was one of the best times in my life. As the sunset on the beach, you KISSED me, and i STOLE these seashells from those shores. I split the shells into two little tins, and told myself that when we made it back to New York, if that KISS meant something, I would keep one and give you the other. When we met up for coffee, you acted like nothing had changed. That day, those Shells never left my bag, and i never mentioned them or the kiss ever again.
